As a general rule of thumb,If you are not willing to pay more than $2,500 out of pocket when you have a fire, then Replacement Cost will be the only option that can realistically deliver that result.If you are willing to pay 50% of any property claim, no matter the cost, you can consider ACV.

We are both on the deed.I recently got divorced in December of 2018, and in the agreement it states:"Within five (5) days of the execution of this Agreement, Wife shall execute and deliver to Husband a Quit Claim Deed conveying her interest in the North Carolina Property to Husband.

If you're leaving a job delivering Domino's pizza, spending 6 months finishing an MBA and going to work as a financial analyst somewhere else, I'd say get the loan now, but I might not say that if you bought the property for $200k and now it's worth $160 and the area is declining - then I might say just sell the place.
