@Mike Landry, Except for the few inheritors of wealth just about everyone through history worked (you'd call it a W2 job now) for a living and built wealth by saving (spending less than they made) and slowly building their ability to invest (whether farm land in the agrarian age, manufacturing and commodities in the industrial age, or information proprietaries in the information age).

It's equally likely that the seal gave due to age or manufacturer defect.   

The home is in Holly Hills (manufactured home) on land I own.

I have found that plumbing manufactures sell better stuff at plumber supply stores.  

I came across a deal knocking doors on the pre-foreclosure list, and in negotiations with the seller, she wants enough money to pay off all her debts from the sale of her manufactured home.

Currently we are just going thru the manufacturer's web sites and ordering the repairs thru them without any extended warranties.Thank you for your time!
