@John Underwood  in my area (which is undergoing gentrification) the local HA will not pay current market rents, and as I understand it, it is not allowed for landlords to ask the tenant to pay above HUD's "contract amount" for the unit.

Those of you hosting with Homeaway and VRBO have certainly received 2 emails in the past few days; One email is from HA/VRBO telling us they are dumping Yapstone because Yapstone now wants to charge 3% additional for the "advanced payment" feature (paying us at booking instead of check-in time).
