Like @Sarah Miller and @Marcy Albrecht said, you can buy places within the city limits but it's still about location. with that said, i'm always looking out for my end game. one of the issues with buying in certain parts of canton is that when you decide you're done, you may not be able to unload your properties.

I have had absolutely no issues.

So the more houses we see the more stuff we can pinpoint that will be an issue with the house/property.

That might create some tax issue/book keeping complication.If @Brandon Hall is around, he may be able to clarify if this transferring of funds is a nonissue or a big deal.

It could be stressful if there is a plumbing or heating issue and you're several hours away. 

The plan is to provide the tenant with their own stackable laundry in their unit and offer the shed for storage.Is there a legal timeline needed to give such notice or is issuing a new lease best /covers all bases?

Sometimes they don’t like that because you don’t have skin in the game.As for advantages to the seller - are you going to pay them more for the property, that would be a perk that I offer in addition to making a little extra on interest for the duration of the loan.

The reason being they did not want to be caught in a lease and have to deal with potential lease issues down the road.
