This is headed the wrong direction already.

Thanks - this is new to me and I'm trying to wrap my head around this.

For example, you lease a home to someone who has a guest who punched another guest causing him to fatally his head on the sidewalk.

Seller financing is a tough thing for seller's to wrap their heads around.

Things to look out for off the top of my head: Is there any flood plain on the lot?

What are some of the questions before I possibly get myself in over my head?

Here's a simplified example of how this can work (or at least a good way to wrap your head around it):Let's say the property you're interested in is listed for $100k and for whatever reason, you think the seller would accept an offer at $90k (maybe it's been on the market for a bit and they've recently reduced the listing price).
