Yes I will have to get over my fear of OOS investing; trying to educate myself ways / system to mitigate that.

Want to up my game.Started searching college towns, commuter towns outside of Boston (Manchester,NH , Providence, New Haven) trying not to be fearful of leaving my comfort zone ( Boston) which is highly priced as you know.Well, I found I very quite town in NH , nothing special about it , no big business, no huge draw but the population is holding its own, low crime...just a quaint town.This particular property is 8 unit with 6 add'l storage units & 2 garages ( those aren't bringing in revenue as of yet, not utilized) All are in good shape, not worn or old. 

Fear no tenant 

I could see how others like the security of a place to live for a year without fear of getting kicked out.

Not a newbie but I can understand the fear people may have at the moment.  

Not many fears as a parent compare to having a sex offender living near your home. 

I do have fear in not being able to find a tenant, but I believe that is because I am new to this.Any input in a what would be the safer strategy to take on for my first home purchase?

I doubt i will get a trustworthy property management in this area as the nearest Bigger city is 15-20 min away and i fear my property will be neglected by the company.

There will always be fear inducing headlines and a general reaction, but people will get used to it and life will go on.
