I originally planned on selling the home, but after researching through Bigger Pockets lately, I have decided to hold and rent after a rehab.

If location isn't a big factor (does not seem to be based on original post) I would highly recommend looking into building a barndonium or shouse in an an area where you can get a tract of land fairly inexpensive and has little zoning regs and requirements.

Build a strong financial foundation by aiming for a credit score of 700+ and saving for down payments, closing costs, and an emergency fund.

Im the original poster, and let me tell you , i was never able to close any deals since joining the program.  

They have credit scores of 760 and 670 and just moved to the US two years ago.
