Listening to one of Brandon Turner's books and he mentions this (https://www.biggerpockets.com/blog/plan-to-make-a-million)My question is how do you calculate your loan paydown for the principal and how much equity you've built up?

I did get one and it has properly organized my books and it sped up the tax preparation process.

I’ve been looking at data on rental properties in Destin and Panama City Beach, and certain amenities seem to drive higher booking rates.

I have his 1st book. 

I know the question is mainly focused on what sorts of special protections you will need as a landlord with a lease as opposed to a longer-term AirBnB booking, so let me answer that first. 

My suggestion would be to read 1-2 books/articles in each space and then set up conversations with 1-2 investors in each space to truly understand what skill sets, etc... would be needed in each avenue.

I would also purchase BP's book on STR's, written by Avery Carl called Short Term Rental, Long Term Wealth.

This should probably be in the category of real estate HISTORY, but since we don’t have that category…..I’m reading a book that has me intrigued, “DealMaker in Chief.  

If my wife and I manage all aspects of our STR business (no property manager, self-managing all of our bookings and guests, accounting, rehabs, working on repairs and maintenance ourselves) as we’ve been doing the last six years, would we be considered real estate professionals?

just wanted to know, what strategies are you using to increase bookings?
