In Boston you actually have to pay his kids tuition for a semester :)

My fear is that my tenants continue to not pay as the crisis is prolonged and come September, Universities announce they are holding their first semesters classes online, and the students do not move in at all.

We use apartments.com for US rental payments and wise.com for international rental payments.But unless you love visiting scholars for academic semesters and vacationing guests between, I wouldn't recommend this model, given the fact that finding insurance has been such a pain in the neck.

Hello BP,I am currently an undergrad student with 2.5 semesters left (Finance Major RE Minor) I have read many books and have listened to many podcasts on RE investing so my mind has been set to do this for a while now.I plan on investing long-distance eventually but am looking to move to an area that has a strong RE market that I can invest in sooner rather than later, and lots to offer for young people.

The market is essentially like a vacation rental market in that if you miss the leasing period you can have vacancies for a semester or even a year.

We use the 4-wks from end of exam period to start of spring semester classes to affect maintenance and renovations in our student units.  

I still used student loans to pay for my last semester.

I'm not sure if you're comparing the guru courses to University of Small Town or to Harvard, but let's assume we're talking somewhere between public and private tuition -- how about $20,000 to be nice.Now, on-average in this country (US), students will take 15 credit hours per semester.
