Take that list to your agent, ask her or him which of those 5 firms is easiest to work with (ie, has the flexibility that makes it more likely an appraisal recycle will fly, given that the firm has already vetted the appraiser), and ask for a referral to a named person at said firm.This will get you a way better deal than looking for a portfolio lender.

As part of this rehab, we had some major structural issues that involved temporarily jacking up the house in the basement and knocking down some exterior structural walls.This being an older house, I ended up with a lot of old brick, chunks of concrete slab and chunks of concrete block....several TONS of the stuff.We happen to have two concrete recycling facilities in my area.

You might be able to tell the company you want to keep it and you can flip it to someone that recycles or uses them for parts to make a few extra $$.
