Then at the end of day 3, the speaker says how proud he is of everyone who signed up and in one last ditch effort says he feels like it was his failure and he feels guilty that those who didn't sign up haven't yet. 

I think to just simply spending more is not going to help you, because it'll just make you feel guilty. 

I knew if I could figure it out and buy a place, I'd have a lower mortgage than my rent and be in a bigger/nicer place.I felt guilty about it, but I did end up borrowing $5k from my IRA (and then replacing what I borrowed).

I didn’t fit into the mindset there anymore and wanted to get financially ahead in life without feeling guilty.
