Seasonal renting for furnished units: do you prefer month to month, entire season, or week to week?

In our contract with the home we currently reside there is a clause that states if we aren't able to furnish the house to them we would return their deposit.

You are allowed to collect a deposit of up to two months rent for an unfurnished rental and a deposit equal to up to 3 months for a furnished rental. 

@Dennis Solari You are going to have to run the numbers on any property you might be interested in.Then you need to look Vrbo and Airbnb and see what properties are renting for and how often.Put all this in a spreadsheet and add in utilities, furnishing, consumables, cleaning, PM (unless doing this yourself), yard maintenance, house maintenance, tax and insurance and see how the numbers shake out.

@Parth PatelIf you officialy change your address to the mentioned property (on your driver's license) and you put and not have it look vacant (keep it somewhat furnished) you should be fine.

I’ve never seen an association do that though.But as a buyer, I don’t see why would you would care about....along as you got clear title.It is possible though, some guy name his llc to resemble the association, for whatever reason.  

Is the county furnishing boats to the people stuck i think not.

Furnish it, the last thing you wanna do is have your rental over run in the garage or the rest of the place with someone trying to store their stuff or have you pay for damages done to their stuff.
