Said another way, my concern would be my claim is that the smoking is being done in the house while the tenant / guest would argue it is not happening in the house, rather the smoking devices are just laying around overnight which contributes to a slight odor in the morning but not enough to support the claim actual smoking is happening which would be a silver bullet for Lease violation.Let me know if the above makes sense or if I can provide additional information for clarification!

I've heard the cleaning company is the biggest piece in doing it yourself and this piece is a MUST have if you are going to do it on your own and are not in the state.We plan to install all smart devices, keypad, thermostat, cameras, etc to help monitoring it and managing it a little easier.Anyone have any advice on using management companies and how did that turn out, especially in this part of FL?

Questions/concerns that have come up include: setting up the devices on WiFi (whose paying for internet), teaching the tenants how to set these up, troubleshooting, and control/privacy (from the tenant's POV).I believe I will need Admin access to set up, change, delete codes for the lock which would require me to provide internet access (passing along the password/cost to the tenant).
