I know that Columbus just released some restrictions and regulations on short term rentals starting next year, but are there areas of town that have still banned them?

Also make sure you have exit strategies in place in case STR's are all of sudden banned or permitting is restricted down the road.  

If that agreement has a clause banning assignment, I would ask the Architect for a letter issuing license to use the plans for the same property to a new owner.

I think this should be banned and at least have a 2 or 3 day mandatory MLS posting period before an offer is accepted.
