I REALLY dislike moving and it just wasn't a good time to sell.

I only just wish it wasn't on facebook...one of these days I'll get over my irrational dislike for that platform (that I hypocritically use myself...)

Not sure what parts of the world or what type of people in need I'll be helping yet, I'm kind of a I want to try everything type of person over laser focused.My question is am I wrong to work my 9-5 where I love the work but dislike the corporate structure, freelance my skill set for additional income and because I geniuniely like the work, and but turn key investments to grow my portfolio OVER starting both active and passive strategies of REI until I can exit my full time gig and achieve my 20k a month goal even faster?

I thought this would be an interesting question for people to weigh in on:

For residential properties, do you prefer an HOA with a fair fee ($100/mo.) or would you prefer no HOA?

We both come from financial backgrounds and can trust each others judgement - we know each other well enough to know what we would like or dislike about something.

However, my employer expected me to do things their way and had the gaul to expect me to show up to work on their hours, travel, and do other things that were part of the job but I disliked intensely.Since being fired (!)

If you dislike ALL aspects of Business then REI is not going to be for you.Regardless of what you choose: work hard and you will have a better chance of success, degree or not.

  :)   I especially like the comments about (1) not incentivizing a landlord to keep a tenant - didn't think of it from that angle. (2) setting realistic and proper expectations (and being adults) Follow up question - would you like/dislike having the owner involved in property maintenance for things that do not require licensing? 

I have a huge dislike for A class properties.
