Under normal circumstances a fee to manage the contractors and construction process seems appropriate, but one of the GPs owns the construction company that was used for the renos.

I was wondering if there is anyone that can provide some advice on property management/contractors or anything associated with having a property out of state.

If you don't have a point person AND a contractor, I would not do value add.
