I go to willcountysoa.com and on the left had side I normally click "Property Search" You can search by parcel ID which can be found on zilliow or you can search by address but I sometimes have a hard time going that route because the spelling is crucial and it is case sensitive and you have to know the abbreviation for St, Ave, Rd, etcOnce the website finds the property, click "Treasury Tax Info" There you will find the owner of the property and will let you know also if they've been keeping up with property taxes.

But, the cashflow there can be superior, especially since the folks renting there are often on contract with the refineries and aren't as sensitive to rent rates, at least in my experience.

Thanks for your response @Austin Youmans I have confidence that there are no safety or health issues (lol one of our first tasks was bagging the leaves and even some dirt between our house and the little old lady next door due to MOTHBALLS and the awful eye burning smell they put off...it seems she had the notion that mothballs scared off snakes - and since the property had sat empty for several years there were LOTS of mothballs (both whole and partially deteriorated) - but thankfully they are gone and I would know - turns out I'm very sensitive to them.

As an aside if you have to file any time sensitive documents with the IRS get your accountant to do it on-line...ie: E-file per se.in 2012 we filed 1098's by the usual registered mail & yet were fined over $700 for 'late' filing.

No real response so I wanted to try and communicate with all the local BP members in my area but really want to be sensitive not to violate any BP policies or just rub folks the wrong way.
