I go over and find that the wife has hooked the disposal up, then shoved plastic bags in the washer drain and the disposal was pushing the water out the roof vent!

I could spend hours telling you horror stories about pet damage.I have vinyl plank  in one of my units - my concern is that although each individual plank is waterproof (it IS plastic, after all!)

Our slab guy didn't install a ground rod in the slab, so we had to ground it outside the slab and it took some discussions between them.Also in 2015 a LOT of electrical codes changed, we've run into this issue on several projects the last few weeks where even though our permits were pulled in 2014 and technically the new codes shouldn't be enforced, the inspectors are enforcing them anyways, so some other nitpicky stuff like installing plastic wire holders instead of using staples and having to mount sconce and pendant lights to the structure instead of leaving wires in the walls had to be addressed.

I am willing to look outside my area and am determined to make this happen.I currently work in the plastics industry and make a very decent living but have realized during the past few years that i need to continue to move forward for my kids and our family.It took a lot of courage to finally introduce myself but i know that these forums can open multiple opportunities and i will fight through all my personal hang ups to make this happen.

For example, do not use a plastic shower surround kit, or simply "reglaze" a tub...without understanding you are likely to only get 3 to 5 years of use before needing to rework or replace.
