But I vowed never to use that space as it is how you end up with rubber ducks, hair dryer, tooth brushes, eye glasses, books etc...dropped into the toilet.I could change out the pedestal to a cabinet but I want to do that as part of a makeover when is vacant, not now.Any creative ideas?

Then my whole day is filled up with CUTTING  hair and the every day activities of running spa and salon..buy the time I get back to them AT the end of the day ...I either can't get them or they can't get me and I lose them again.............. 

Alternatively, build in the cost of a cleaner coming to handle common area when running your numbers...helps the arguments over hair on the bathroom vanity + great marketing of amenities you offer (and makes your home clean for you if/while you're living in it on the tenants' dime).Just be conscious of the tenant base/mix, especially if you're living there.

There's a lot of STR investors (not aiming at you) that can easily get caught in the cross-hairs of a downward economy.

The landlord(and family) would move from one tenant's place to the next, eating their food, using their stuff, sleeping there, living off of the tenant until they paid to get the landlord out of their hair...

What with their chic makeup, coordinating Peloton labeled workout gear, and professionally styled hair.

The one I had was 12 people showed up for an 8 person max pool cabin.  4 adults ladies and 8 teenage girls - all with long hair.
