The 3300 sq foot modular delivered and set on my foundation was $106K / $33 a sq foot, that includes the extras of 9' first floor ceilings, high hat lighting, wood burning fireplace, etc...

There are 2 bed 1 bath units, the first two floors have large living room with fire places (not working and there are also large dining room and fairly spacious kitchens.

We remodeled the kitchen and etc, but kept the layout, and stayed true to the wood paneling and beamed ceiling, brick fireplace, and overall style of the place.

There is an indoor fireplace and we are debating a gas firepit outside.  

I also installed a wood burning fire place that can be used but that isn't very practical to retrofit. 

Here, there is only a requirement for CO detectors if the house has a gas/oil/wood furnace, water heater, fireplace/fixture or appliance.One of the reasons we prefer to rent most of our student properties by the house or unit.  

I'm currently building a vacation rental and installed a gas fireplace that is thermostat or remote controlled and I really want to make sure it isn't accidentally left on when someone leaves.
