Yes it seems a bit to run off to a hotel,  I offered to pay for their dinner, but they are a family of 5 so that still will be expensive.

Because if we're, I'm struggling to understand this thinking.I don't care whether this $100 is for state tax preparation (which, by the way, would be a very low cost and should be higher), for taking a business partner to dinner, or for anything else.
