My attorney explained that the bank wasn't suppose to accept a payment in that fashion and it should have been negotiated with the foreclosing attorney prior to any payments and thats why the Commisioner never knew anything about a cancellation.So...In theory the home will be mine unless the Judge reverses the sale at the court hearing sometime in a week or so.

And out west here I see Vegas as something that is going to really blossom again.. no state income tax.. get the over flow from CA  weather and sports teams and all other manner of things to do and a great airport so you can get all over the country or go international.

Not exactly sure how we compare with other areas in Illinois or even out-of-state but enrollment here is continuing to increase and those students need someplace to live, especially the internationals that are just dishing out money like crazy!

Another idea would be, if you had any friends/contacts working for companies with high turnovers in the areas (such as consultants, contractors, interns), ask if they could recommend your property to their new hires.
