After that Citimortgage nightmare, I have even more appreciation dealing with people who are very professional with great work ethics.

Ethically - questionable at best.

It's not illegal if that is what you are asking however some would argue there are some ethic and agency issues at play being an agent doing sub2 deals.  

It doesn't sound like good business ethic to evict someone, have them uproot their entire lives for a personal need.

I don't have the platform set up for that, or the ethics to take someone's money for something I don't own yet and thus can't sell them.I can't imagine anyone with true experience/knowledge in this industry would want to deal with them anyways.

Would it be ethical/legal to contact them either on Facebook or at the place of their work (I found that out through FB)?

There may be a way to legally and ethically hide this information (what you paid for it), but it may take it several weeks for the data to populate through and for Zillow to update.  

I'm very new to the idea of investing in notes generally, and I have a question regarding non performing notes specifically: I feel like I heard/read somewhere that it's not legal (or not ethical?)
