Obviously giving more weight to the agents opinion in a market I'm not as familiar with.

I understand this is no longer an income, but it is more specifically a reduction of debt. 

Granted, these comps don't have pools or garages, but the fact that your listing has been on the market for 5 months and has only had a 6k price reduction shows that your list price may still be too high for that immediate area.

I would re-evaluate and do a price reduction.

It was recommended that it's in your chosen field and while there is some weight put on that it's most important that your new job is both full time and permanent. 

Huge group, a lot of weight behind them, and they're getting into the wholesale game.

You may have to take a slight reduction in rent but you clearly need to focus on getting some income, not spending more money.

A good jack of all trades will be worth his weight in gold as most specialty subs aren't interested in coming all the way out to replace a door knob and/or their hourly rate makes maintenance calls prohibitive.
