Most I see are 2 story, with living-kitchen on 1st floor, bedrooms on 2nd floor.

I was skeptical they would refinish nicely, especially some black stains under sheet laminate in the kitchen.

Last year I attempted to turn off the water supply to the dishwasher and crushed the valve with my bare hand, flooded the still new kitchen, damaged the subfloor, $2000 in repairs.

Should I provide a kitchen when renting rooms?

I just saw this too.It will interesting to see how they reorder the pictures.I beleive the money shot at our Lake House is of the water and the dock.PF is of the mountain view.If a higher performing picture is moved to the top I'll try it out and see.I guess the higher performing picture might be the kitchen on one house and the backyard on another.

You want a house that can comfortablyaccommodate the number of people who will be residing there. 4 people crammed into a 1,200 sq ft house with only 1 or 2 bathrooms and a tiny kitchen is miserable, but 4 people in a 2800+ sq ft house with 3 or 4 bathrooms and a large kitchen ain’t so bad.

My mortgage is very low and I have just remodeled the kitchen and remaining upgrades will cost less than $5k.
