Depending on the custodian, they may want to see the LLC amended to reflect the Roth IRA as the member.The lenders would likely want to re-do the loan paperwork as well.At the end of the day, whether the investment asset is stocks or real estate, the concepts and benefits of a Roth conversion are the same.

I'd think those area may be more apt to go for that concept? 

Go to college, it’s not required to be a real estate investor but you will learn fundamental business concepts that will be invaluable for your future.

Many brokerages offer a great mix of those concepts, however require agents to be full time.

How did you all go about learning these concepts well enough to be comfortable taking that leap?

For one, think back to the most elementary concept in investing - return is a measure of risk.With MJ becoming legal, it would be reasonable to assume that the return investors demand will drop with the decreased level of risk associated with the business.Second, it is my understanding that it’s currently much easier to attain a license to grow/wholesale than it is to retail (especially in a brick & mortar environment).In my opinion, that is likely to cause a systemic imbalance between the supply and true long-term demand.
