The entire underdeck area had to be bleached and pressure washed because the food left attracted animals, especially birds and mice, to come and crap on everything including all over our new outdoor furniture, fireplace, bar, and concrete area.

For a more extensive one, I schedule a 2nd consultation at Lowes and pick out carpet style and color, what type of laminate planks to use, tile backsplash styles, colors and patterns for kitchen and bathroom, door styles, trim styles, faucet fixtures, shower glass door, toilet style, fireplace brick paint choices, etc.One thing to be careful with a designer is that they will tend to take you way over budget.

The other unit uses a window unit and gas fireplace heater.I remember hearing about a company that can get accurate water metering for individual units of a house on a BP podcast, not sure about electricity though.Thanks  for your response!

Flooring underway.The original contractor that I had high hopes for to finish the house came in sky high on his estimate - $26k for flooring upstairs and down, baseboard, bathroom, doors hung, door trim, kitchen installation, stair repair and dealing with the fireplace.

Opening a unit and dumping out debris makes no sense, as particles become airborne.Another tip, don't use a shop vac for cleaning out fireplace ash... there are special vacs to that.
