Hello,I am new to bigger pockets but have been set on owning a duplex for some time now.

My example is 3 SFH and 1 Duplex.

After moving out, we re-stained the front porch posts with a darker stain (photo is pre-stain), replaced the front door, did touch-up painting on walls and trim, installed new keyed-alike locks on front/back door, and installed a vented bathroom exhaust fan that wasn't there prior. 

Plan is to wall it off and convert to a 4br/2ba,  update existing bath and kitchen, new floors,  interior and exterior  paint.

We're finalizing the acquisition of our first duplex and just had our inspection.

Texas, and especially the San Antonio area, has some great opportunities for real estate investment, whether you're looking at single-family rentals, multifamily, or even new construction.I'm primarily focused on the Indianapolis market, working with investors on new build duplexes that offer solid returns and long-term potential.

Perhaps purchase a duplex living in one unit and renting out the other.

I did this several times using duplexes and triplexes over the years before I decided to become an accountant.
