Home warranties are a scam....Nathan spelled it out perfectly.... they tack on fees for every claim, hire crap companies to bandaid the issue, take forever, crappy customer service and communication.

The LTR is nice, steady cashola without a lot of customer service issues a STR brings. 

The cost is likely dependent on the level of customization and depth needed. 

I could be wrong, I honestly think this is such a systemic change that it’s hard to predict the ripples, but I find it extraordinary hard to believe this doesn’t lead to a substantial reduction in commissions, I’m literally taking with a client in an hour, I like the guy, I suspect he may be a repeat customer and I’m not gonna take any chance I lose him over a few dollars, so I’ll negotiate with him, I suspect other agents will take the same approach, especially given the real risk buyers just walk and go unrepresented, whether that’s a good idea or not l, it will happen.

Yes there will eventually be some but it’s the name of the game and good customer service goes a long way.

I can't speak to if it is any good or meeting a market need, but if you provide a good product and service and focus on meeting your customers needs, I'm sure you and your family will succeed.

The guy could have a made a lot of money as a custom builder but chose to help kids develop job and life skills.

I don’t wanna say anything on that, but from the real process flow, they designed the payment process intentionally to block you from get refund if you are not happy or losing money in the investment…In summary: FlipSystem uses exaggerated advertisement but not taking any responsibility on the paid customer.

It seems like you could command a premium for something custom tailored to someone's desires while also saving them the hassle of dealing with contractors.
