It depends on what is included with the coaching.

You could get a job in the business with a developer, investment firm or property management company or take some courses and or hire a coach to teach you the business.  

I offer the agent/investors the coaching and skills to know how to really work with investors, evaulate the numbers and flip potential, etc.

I would not suggest paying a mentor or coach.

You need a coach, ready to bring you down to earth with solid numbers and reasoning.

I honestly believe and coach people that 20% of finding a private investor is knowing your numbers and 80% is they have to trust you and like you.

I finally decided to go all in and get a coach to really figure this thing because it was like every where i went i would lose money or not get paid the money I was truly owed. it frustrated me to the point of just giving up all hope and never truly become what I was destined for.

I am a college football coach and I have been reading up on real estate investing. 

A lot of the books and conferences are mostly "what is a note and why invest in notes" level info.I hate to say it but the best ways to get started are:- Get coaching / mentoring from someone- Do a JV and reverse engineer what the person is doing- Buy performing notes and start learning with something easy- Buy a cheaper NPN and learn by doingIf you have a specific question myself and several others here can probably answer it.
