In fact, we have two tenants (two house) in California that came into financial difficulties and both had one of their cars repossessed.

I'm about to get a tax lien on a private road that allows 38 townhouses access to their two car garages.

Add the two car payments of $501 and $369 and student loan payment of $180. 

The only other issue I have had with her is that she had a car parked on the front lawn.  

Same thing with other hard assets like Gold, paintings, antique cars, jewels etc.

I was able to find a 4 bedroom, 2 bath, 1700 sq. ft. house that is gorgeous and has a 2 car garage and is about 1 mile from the local college.  

So maybe at the end of a transaction the agent who procured the deal might only walk away with enough to pay their car payment for the month or whatever.

Probably buy a nicer car.

Is there a: garage (how many cars); basement (finished or unfinished); attic, etc.

There just aren't a ton of MFH on the market for a reasonable price2) Investing out of this market (say, Spokane, where its cheaper) is hard as well because I have to purchase and manage a property that is hours away by car, and this being my first investment, I'm not sure how well it would work to be so far away.So I'm sort of generalizing my concerns, so maybe someone has suggestions on how I can achieve #1 given my sitation.This leads me to this idea.
