You might get a decent discount for adding the policy to your overall stack.I would also look at adding an umbrella policy to cover the whole shebang.

Hello All not new to bigger pockets or  the real estate business took a little break to build a solid foundation and to pursue my real estate license for Florida as well and to learn the in's and outs of the business.

I have to purchase the California Fair Plan as fire ins, but it doesn't have liability, which I will need 300k for my umbrella.

You may be better off just paying for an umbrella insurance policy each year.

Even though interest rate seems attractive to an average investor, I would assume HF would have a much bigger appetite.

Bigger property can provide bigger tax benefits as well.

That being said, we have owned a fourplex in a small town in Michigan for about 10 years but had no guidance when we purchased, I have found all the information Bigger Pockets offers extremely helpful and I am grateful in advance to any advice on this thread. 

Some of the lenders can chime in, but it is my understanding that rate and term will go up a little bit on the LTV if you’re not pulling any cash out.Trying to force a cash sale can be a real challenge.Hopefully there’s a lender on Bigger Pockets reading this that can help you.
