I have just started to keep track of the return on investment starting with the storage unit.

., then I get to talk to them when I sent a cancellation letter, they answered and said we are not obligated nor the buyer to tell you anything or when we want to work on the title or what we will do in the propertyIf you were in my shoes what do you think of this guy and his people, plus the property listed with a whole different brokerage does not even have a website or address who is the bad guy then ?!!!

The tenants and landlord have been very understanding and flexible, and I'm able to use our shared spaces to do a lot of the processing I need to do, as well as use part of the basement for storage.

Put yourself in his shoes:  You have a nice house with a room you want to rent out. 

More recently I have a barn here in Western Wa where we get serious rain; the barn is at the bottom of a big hill and it was useless for storage..........I had a drain installed here too.

In that case you have to allow for so many days or put stuff in storage.

If I were in your shoes, I would focus more on building your wife's business as a realtor.

Networking with these folks is a great way to learn what the big providers in your area are charging, and what they are charging for (extra for parking, storage, pet rent etc.)
