January has been mostly long weekends with a couple of midweek trips.

We bought a cabin in the fall in Wears Valley and Parker was patient as I was negotiating the mortgage from a cycling trip in WY with time zone and service issues.

I get in late on the 24th and leave on the 26th - quick trip.

Looking forward to the trip!

I do NOT use the money for a trip to Hawaii. 

There will also (in my guess) likely be some decline as the "heat" and newness of Asheville wears off a bit, and people start looking for more variety in their trips.

Outside the house is next, yard issues, snake holes, or gopher holes, pest issues, trip issues? 

I would narrow down my choices based on specific set criteria, then take a trip (week end trip) to places I would like to invest, meet with brokers, agents, property managers ... etc.

Most likely the state where the property is located is where lawsuits would be brought if they are something for personal injury like a trip and fall or something of that nature because the “cause of action” arose in that state. 

Louis, but have NO problem making trips there since I plan to start investing there myself.
