Whenever I find myself doing something unproductive, I literally remind myself that my time to build my investing business is limited and I should use this time to do something to progress that. 

I have been trying to network with local REI (that has been the most unproductive swim with sharks I have ever been exposed to) and looking for others that HAVE used legit lenders that could make recommendations.  

I don't have the numbers in front of me, I am actually at my real job being unproductive.

But if you think they are unproductive just because you don't like them, I'd challenge that with real results that I see other people getting with them in certain markets.

Shotgun mailings produce random, unproductive calls that do nothing but cost you money.
