This experience reinforced the importance of strategic execution and adaptability in real estate investments, demonstrating that even deals with slim margins can be profitable with the right approach.

That can be very hard when you’re not making a high income. if your not able to save a lot at your job you might be better off learning about real estate, learning how to be a landlord, and focusing on a new career that can get you the income to buy real estate. it’s a tough pill to swallow but I got into the trades and now have the skills to fix my property and starting to get the income needed to keep going. 

I would have done the same on such a slim deal.

It's great when a property cash-flows as a LTR as well as a STR, but it's a hard pill to shallow when you know the cash-flow could double or triple as a STR.

I can accept 10% but I don't deal with anyone that charges 20% anymore.Property management companies have slim margins and there is time involved for overseeing repairs.  

Slim pickings out there unfortunately.

Plus, my work history is pretty slim—I only worked for a couple of months during college.I'm eager to do more, to explore new avenues of passive income, and to soak up knowledge like a sponge.

Also, I am sure there are many quality property managers out there, but unfortunately the pickling were slim in my particular sub market.

Sounds like extra money upfront to determine if it’s a good deal in a market that’s already slim on deals as is.
