I've been going to disaster zones since the Joplin tornado and will never forget buying toys for kids who lost their mom. 

They either serve mom and pop with their personal checking and vacation loans, or multi $ billion deals. 

Which will get him a lot closer to his actual goals--not having a 9-5 and helping his mom retire. 

Historically cleaning fee's reflected pre-Airbnb the  way that Mom and Pop joints allowed customers to pick if they would clean up the cabin or if the resort did. 

A 32-year-old would never insult a politician in person, but they have no problem getting nasty from the safety of mom's basement.If profiles were verified and public, then we would clean things up a bit.

I’m  getting tired of seeing small mom and pop operators believing they can operate through title only and achieve the same separation and  liability protections.

Sadly, I think the days of mom/pop landlording are over.

I’ve actually co-owned w my mom for most of the last decade but am exploring options w friends and am just wondering how many others are out there that have either done it or thought about. 

So investor is looking at a lot of regional to mom and pop or small franchisee tenants with more risk.

But by then my wife became a stay-at-home mom and my DTI prevented me from getting larger mortgages.
