If you turn them down (say, when you have your own capital), you may be seen as the selfish one for not including them on your deals (even if you try and explain the rationale, good luck)...Today's privileges are tomorrow's demands, as the saying goes. 

This is my first post and it's a bit of a selfish one.  

At the time these were where my interests lie and Yes I will admit there were some selfish intents involved also . but certainly NO Graft or Corruption . 

How selfish would I be to post in this thread not to contribute anything valuable to the discusssion, but to see if @Michael Davis is available for new clients?

He invests in goldmine deals, and if I did that I might be a bit more selfish too. 

.....yes I can understand it's taking on liability to help someone who hasn't exchanged money yet....But saying my motivation is selfish is assuming and generalizing.

Btw, it now appears that the only reason Palin quit was for her own personal gain (write a book, go on tour, make some money)...abandoning your sworn public responsibilities for the purpose of selfish gain is much worse than not running for re-election.

(And believe me, personally I'm all for young people renting vs. buying, but that my selfish interest)A young couple who have a combine income of $45,000 annually .

I admit I am a bit selfish and greedy.

On a side note.... if you change your mentality to look for win- win deals instead of selfishly seeking what you can steam-roll someone for, you will find yourself more successful in the long run.
