The most common examples are hand railings needing to be installed and peeling paint to be sanded and repainted.Rehab loans can not be closed quicker than 60 days, at least I've never heard of a lender that does one quicker.

The exterior was in bad enough shape that the siding was roof shingles that didn't even overlap, they just butted them up against each other, so they were peeling off.

Your other option is "full risk reduction" which means you must remove any Peeling, chipping or cracking paint from anywhere on the property.
