Although we didn’t have any trouble getting around and all roads seem to be clear.

If you rent that out without a true Certificate of Occupancy, a tenant can sue you for ALL of their rent money back. 

The tenants have their own W/D so I can’t make money off that.

Dumb question, but is asking a police officer to swing by just to assess if there is weed (quick smell test) be too much/a violation of anything/asking for trouble?
