Many of those investors have millions in equity to protect, which is when an LLC starts making sense.

With a purchase price of $740,000 and construction budget of about $1.3 million, a future appraisal estimates its value at $3.75 million.

What's really the math logic for the lender to charge the LP $20 million, $40 million or even $1 million ?
