Still exploring options and gleaning from other people’s wisdom :-)

In addition to income and job security, I try to find out as much as possible about someone's character and level of responsibility, which can be tough to glean from references, previous LL's, and employers.

Really gleaning a lot from the comments.

There are some excellent resources here from podcasts to webinars, and you can certainly glean of good info from the forums.

Also, you could spend time in the Deal Analysis forum and see what you can glean.

Hoping to find a mentor to add value to and glean from.  

I was able to glean tremendous information regarding original loan amounts, foreclosure amounts, locations, etc.
