No it was no typo, my triplex is officially a duplex, but the basement of the lower unit where I live has been outfitted as a bachelor pad, so it's got it's own bathroom, small kitchen, stone fireplace, and a nice shiny wood floor.

A person who had relatives right in this neighborhood bid agressively for it .The Unit needed a lot of work, but it was in a good neighborhood, and the Unit had tons of potential, and a couple of desireable features, (fireplace, plus bedrooms at opposite ends of living room)Oh well, I'm still looking for a sure fire deal I cant screw up, but I havent been able to find one.GL all .

The last "cleaning" I did involved replacing 6 brand new miniblinds that the tenant's cat destroyed and they had to be cut off because of odd sizes; stove was filthy; refrigerator was filthy; new storm off it's hinges, new carpet not clean; fireplace filled with burnt logs, cat hair and dust everywhere; light bulbs had to be replaced etc. etc.

I am contemplating making an offer on a 1995 double-wide mobile home through one of these auction sites but saw two problems that concern me: 1) the back door won't open - it seems to be pretty firmly jammed shut; and 2) there is evidence of damage on the ceiling of the same side of the home, near a fireplace.
