@Bill F. concealed carry laws do not apply to owning and possessing a firearm in your residence. 

If you are attempting to hide or conceal something from others you should probably not use your own name.

  - Remove handles and install new pulls (check out cabinet parts or HD for some deals as you'd be surprised what you could find) - - Old holes can be covered with wood putty - Optional: update hinges to concealed hinges. 

All parties will benefit by addressing any defect up front  ( except the dishonest property who seeks to obtain more than the true value of his property by concealing a defect )..
