I'm the Co-Founder at Obie and there's been a few times in this thread that a similar question has come up.

My dad is a co tractor and has a guy for pretty much every modality in construction.

A couple thoughts on your question:I tell our STR investors in Colorado that their main goal should be to set up the right way right out of the gate.

I used a PM in the DR because it was just easier, especially with the language barrier and definite distance issues but I did co-host the listing on Airbnb.

I have heard good things about Ohio, Indiana, etc.5 - Due to high interest rates flipping has become highly risky and most businesses have dried up.6 - Co-living and Assisted living seems to be popular right now.So - really depends on your market, your strategy, and your timeline.
