Though U.S. recovery efforts after Hurricane Maria were slower and stingier than the response to hurricanes in Florida and Texas, Puerto Rico has access to relatively extensive American disaster resources.  

And, while each cycle is different, looking at financial crisis: peak in 2006/07, bottom in 2010 (3 yrs-ish out) and full recovery to peak levels was roughly 2013/14.

Investors don t invest for RE speculation they invest for cash flow.There are thousands of investors who are professionals, small business owners , professional athletes, entertainers , high 6-7 figure incomes who buy RE to benefit from its cash flow.

You have to go where other people are not yet to find the yield as a recovery is starting.
