It was just kind of tinny.  3/8 drywall more easily hole-prone, cabinets made out of particle board with no top or back, hollow-core doors with cardboard 'struts', 2X2 stud walls, poly plumbing. plastic washerless faucets,etc.

Scenarios: 1) If I throw the ball on them with my labs (puppies: 9 months and 24 months old) - they slide all over the floor and it's not phased 3) vacuuming with shop vacuum, mopping up after using shop vac (I believe particles vacuum did not collect), moving washer/dryer (doing it carefully), etc it seems to scratch very easily.

It appears that the mold is only confined to the underside of the particle board countertop around the sink edge.  2nd.

@Jonathan Perez@Jason D.We're in Bigger Pockets rehab-talk silly season again.If you want laminate countertops, you build your countertop out of particle board or MDF, which is dirt cheap.

That was likely from fomites (viral particles on objects) or respiratory droplets, and not from someone who was sneezing or coughing, because you would have remembered that.

@David NaccoI am not a contractor but have dealt with 100+ year old properties for years and I have been told that they need to screw in, not nail in and to wet the asbestos first beforehand to try and avoid airborne particles.
