I am currently buy and hold investing in Jacksonville Florida small multifamily and Melbourne Florida (Brevard County) single family rentals.

I have some friends who are from Melbourne and currently living in Houston.

I connected with a Small Lender in Melbourne Florida and they taught me the ropes. 

I have been looking around  along the south eat coast of FL: Melbourne, WPB, Broward ... and finding 7 CAP would be a steal ....

All the other cities I've lived in (Brisbane, London, Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore) you can't get within 10 miles of the city if you're not prepared to pay a huge premium and the previously dodgy areas have been gentrified.

You can buy a nice 3-4bdr/2bth CBS house in the Melbourne / Vero Beach area for that price and it rents out for around $900/month
