We got lucky last 3-4 years renting it out .But it’s been dry for a few months now .. the attractive thing about STR for this property is we can go back there and stay in it .  

I relocated the tenants to an Airbnb for $1k while it dried out and the plumbing was replaced.

China is natural resource poor and dependent on the rest of the world to fill that void, and with cheap labor drying up they will lose some ground on the manufacturing side. 

They may need to cut open the wall to dry it out and prevent mold growth.

Contact insurance immediately and get that place dried out, fixed up and re-rented asap.

This can happen due to moisture damage or improper installation techniques such as using too much adhesive or not allowing ample time for drying before walking on them.

When you do ceilings you only have to paper/ plastic the light fixtures and maybe some smoke alarms, you can hang plastic over windows, but the paint is usually dry before it hits them and wipes off easily.

You are a local investor with a couple properties, not a conglomerate, and you are looking to get one more and the open market is dry.

I simply thought putting it out there in the Forum might keep someone from unknowingly buying something that might leave you out to dry.
