Each of you will sign some paperwork, the deed gets notarized and signed by you, the deed is recorded at the county recorder, you may have to pay a transfer tax and you'll have to sign a promissory note or deed of trust, which is the new mortgage on the property.

I of course have copies, but copies - even notarized ones - cannot be used to show ownership.Has anyone in this group heard of servicing requiring the original of documents (CFD, Note, Assignments, etc.)?
